The Stack is a monthly .NET User Group supported by Mando Group in Liverpool. The user group is totally free and is a place where developers from in and around Liverpool and the North West of the UK can get together, hear some great speakers and chat about the latest developments in the .NET world.
After the summer break it is time for another session for our user group. For October we are joined by a familiar face from the developer community, Simon (Darkside) Jackson, and we will be deliving into an area many of us have always wanted to know about, games development using XNA.
Beginning XNA nuts and bolts
A walk through a beginners XNA experience including all the important bits
from 2D/3D graphics to Audio and input. We'll run through all the basics and terminology before diving into code.
and producing a pretty space shooter game. Aimed to be a heavy Q&A session so come armed with your thoughts!
